Anti-lock braking system or ABS is a safety feature that can prove to be invaluable on our treacherous roads. Without further ado then, here are the ten most affordable motorcycles in the country that come with ABS. It bears mentioning that all the bikes on this list have single-channel ABS only.

TVS Apache RTR 160 2V
Kicking things off is the Apache RTR 160. The variant of the Apache RTR 160 2V that offers ABS is the “RM Disc” that costs Rs 1,24,720. At this price, the TVS is the most expensive bike on this list, which should give you an idea of how affordable the other options are. The Apache RTR 160 2V ends up earning the tenth spot on this list as it is affordable by a meagre Rs 10 than the Pulsar N150 which was earlier a part of the list but now receives an honourable mention.
The Apache RTR 160 2V has been responsible for establishing TVS’ reputation in India. The 2V model has been updated incrementally through the years and despite newer machines available from TVS, this one remains a strong-seller.
Yamaha FZS Fi
Just like the aforementioned TVS Apache RTR 160, The original FZ16 also cemented Yamaha’s reputation in India and even today the FZ range of models are strong sellers for the brand. The FZS Fi, at Rs 1,22,900, is based on the FZ V3 and still uses the older design.
Honda SP160
Honda recently launched the SP160, which uses the fundamentals of the Unicorn, draped in styling resembling that of the smaller SP125. Priced at Rs 1,20,951, this model recently received an update which brought in a TFT display, OBD-2B compliance and a hike in price by Rs 2,000.
Honda Unicorn
One of the most successful models for Honda in India, the Unicorn (currently priced at Rs 1,19,481) had earlier secured fifth spot in our list but owing to the recent Rs 7,000 price hike due to the OBD-2B update, addition of LED headlight– the Unicorn has now slipped to the seventh spot. This price hike has done little-to-none damage to the Unicorn’s sales and despite having basically the same design as it did all those years ago, its massive brand recall helps the Unicorn sell like droves even today.
Yamaha FZ Fi
The most affordable way to get yourself a Yamaha FZ today is by shelling out Rs 1.18 lakh for the entry-level FZ Fi. The engine and underpinnings on this bike are similar to the rest of the range, but it gets fewer features.
Hero Xtreme 160R 2V
The Hero Xtreme 160R 2V, at Rs 1,11,611, also finds a spot on this list. The Xtreme 160R has always been a light, nimble, frugal and affordable model, which has worked in its favour.
Bajaj Pulsar 150
The original Bajaj Pulsar 150 is still going strong more than two decades later and finds a spot on this list at Rs 1,10,419. Despite the newer Pulsar NS and N models, the original Pulsar shape continues to find takers due to its established identity.
Bajaj Pulsar NS125
The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is the latest addition to this list, as Bajaj has recently updated this model with ABS. Although the NS125 starts at Rs 1 lakh, an additional Rs 7,000 over that amount will get you the top-spec “LED BT ABS” variant. Which not only adds ABS to the list but also adds convenience features such as an all LED headlight and a digital console with bluetooth. Incidentally, the NS125 is also the first 125cc Pulsar to get ABS.
Hero Xtreme 125R
At Rs 1.01, the smallest Xtreme from Hero manages to just about cross the Rs 1 lakh mark. Earlier, the Xtreme 125R was priced right under the Rs 1 lakh mark (Rs 99,500). But a recent increment of Rs 600 has changed that although the Xtreme 125R still manages to undercut its rival the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 by Rs 7,000.
Bajaj Platina 110 ABS
The humble but hardy Platina is the only 110cc bike on this list, and is the most affordable bike in India to come with ABS. At Rs 71,558, it is nearly twenty nine thousand rupees more affordable than the next bike here. So, naturally it gains the top-spot in our list.

Bajaj Pulsar N150
The Pulsar N150, one of the recent additions to Bajaj’s ever-growing Pulsar lineup. At Rs 1,24,730, this Pulsar was earlier part of this list alongside its brethren but had to be removed as its price exceeded by Rs 10 compared to the most expensive bike on this list. With that said, this difference is nominal enough that it won’t stray any prospective buyers from the N150.
