New spy shots of the next-gen Hyundai Venue have surfaced, revealing some fresh details about the upcoming compact SUV. Internally codenamed QU2i, the next-gen Venue will be launched in India later this year with a completely revamped design and familiar mechanicals.

Next-gen Hyundai Venue exterior design
Prior spy shots of the new Venue hinted at boxy proportions much in line with the current model, and the recent spy shots provide a much clearer look. Up front, the next-gen Venue looks to sport a sharper, less rounded profile, along with a split headlight setup and a new rectangular-patterned grille. Lower down, we can see front parking sensors and an ADAS module, neither of which is available on the current Venue.
16-inch alloy wheels and disc brakes all around
The side profile of the next-gen Venue test mule reveals brand-new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, thicker cladding above the wheel arches, a sharper design for the wing mirrors and roof rails, and a DCT badge on the fenders. Additionally, the window line doesn’t seem to have the current Venue’s upward kink, and all four wheels are equipped with disc brakes. The latter feature is notable as it's available only on the Venue N Line variants right now.
Over to the rear, there appears to be a longer roof spoiler than the current Venue, as well as a protruding section right above the connected tail-lamps. It remains to be seen whether this is specific to the test mules, or if it’ll make its way into the production-spec next-gen Venue. The rear bumper also has an array of parking sensors.
Next-gen Hyundai Venue interior and features
The interior of the next-gen Venue wasn’t captured in the recent spy shots, but we expect an overhauled cabin design and expanded feature list that borrows from newer Hyundai models like the facelifted Creta and Alcazar. Goodies like a panoramic sunroof, larger screens, ventilated seats, and the aforementioned ADAS suite may be on offer in the next-gen Venue.

No changes under the hood compared to current Venue
Mechanically, the next-gen Venue is anticipated to retain the trio of engines utilised in the current model. These consist of a pair of petrol engines, namely a 120hp, 1.0-litre turbo unit and an 83hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated motor, as well as a 100hp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel mill. Gearbox options for the petrol engines include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the diesel unit comprises a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter auto.
Next-gen Hyundai Venue India launch details and rivals
As we reported previously, the India launch of the next-gen Venue is slated for October 2025. Production of the new compact SUV will commence at Hyundai’s Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
