Ampere has introduced a 5-year / 75,000km warranty for the Nexus’ battery, now standard across all variants. This is one of the most comprehensive battery warranties currently offered in the electric two-wheeler space.
The Ampere Nexus uses a 3kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, similar to that seen on the E-access, which is claimed to offer better thermal stability and safety compared to conventional lithium-ion units (NMC). The Nexus delivers a real-world range of 100kms and has a top speed of 93kph. Ampere says the Nexus can be fully charged in just 3 hours and 22 minutes.
The Nexus range starts from Rs 1.15 lakh and goes up to Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
