Bentley EXP 15 Design Vision Concept Revealed, Features Design Cues Which Will Be Utilised On The Brand’s Future EVs
Bentley Motors has revealed the EXP 15 Concept, a bold vision of future luxury and design. Showcased inside its new design studio, the concept honours Bentley’s Grand Tourer heritage. It merges 1930s elegance with modern innovation to preview the brand’s electric future.
Styling
Inspired by the 1930 Bentley Speed Six “Blue Train,” the EXP 15 features an upright grille and elongated bonnet. These classic elements are combined with sharp surfacing and futuristic lighting. Active aerodynamics and modern materials ground the design in present-day technology.
Though not intended for production, EXP 15 influences future Bentley models, including its first fully electric car. New proportions and body language are highlighted by the concept. It also explores creative ways to repurpose traditional elements for electric platforms.
Five exterior design principles define EXP 15’s form: Upright Elegance, Iconic Grille, Endless Bonnet Line, Resting Beast, and Prestigious Shield. These principles shape the vehicle’s balance of heritage and innovation. Each detail reinforces Bentley’s new design language.
The concept enhances the front grille, now incorporating light technology for digital artistry. Slim, split headlights define the car’s width and edges. Together, they create a strong and recognisable front identity.
The side profile features muscular haunches and sleek proportions that suggest motion even at rest. Flowing lines connect past and present. Twin bonnet panels recall vintage piano-style engine covers.
The rear design incorporates clean surfacing and diamond-patterned lighting. Twin spoilers and an active diffuser add function and flair. A new Bentley emblem crowns the tailgate with authority.
Interior
Inside, the EXP 15 introduces a three-seat, three-door layout. The driver has a dedicated door and cocooned seat. The passenger side features coach doors and a swiveling seat for elegance and ease.
The seat can rotate outward for graceful entry and exit. It also adjusts into different configurations: Co-pilot, Standard, or Relax. Rear-seat comfort is enhanced by footrests and pet-friendly floor storage.
A blend of tradition and technology characterises materials throughout the cabin. Wool textiles from Fox Brothers meet 3D-printed titanium details. Historic silk fabrics sit beside glowing metal mesh for a unique sensory mix.
The dashboard, called the Wing Gesture, fuses physical craftsmanship with digital flexibility. It can display infotainment or vanish to reveal wood veneer. At its centre, a mechanical “clock” provides functional and aesthetic delight.
This element, known as the Mechanical Marvel, merges analogue beauty with digital intelligence. It shows direction, battery state, or just serves as art. Bentley’s belief in blending tactile and virtual worlds is reflected in it.
Unique Features
Bentley EXP 15’s user experience predicts needs and adapts to driver mood. The technology can appear or melt away on command. This interaction provides both luxury and calmness.
The rear boot opens to reveal fold-out seats and a mini fridge. It transforms into an upscale picnic space. Painted in Pallas Gold, the car’s body uses advanced aluminium pigment. It allows radar and Lidar signals to pass through.
This innovation ensures compatibility with autonomous driving systems. Four interior themes combine British heritage with modern aesthetics. Jacquard silk and acrylic mesh create glowing quilted patterns.
These backlit materials form an “active 3D quilt” across surfaces.
Powertrain
The concept’s electric powertrain offers all-wheel drive and long range. The brand has not revealed specific information other than the fact that it supports fast charging. However, it is safe to assume that performance will be central to the EXP 15.
Outlook
The Bentley EXP 15 is not retro, nor is it a direct preview of a production car. It boldly points to the future as a celebration of craftsmanship, emotion, and innovation.
