Aprilia unveiled the RSV4 X-GP last weekend at the Catalunya Grand Prix, a special-edition model celebrating the 10th anniversary of the RS-GP’s MotoGP debut. Limited to just 30 units worldwide, this track-only machine is the most extreme RSV4 ever built and carries a staggering €90,000 (~Rs 92.9 lakh) price tag, before taxes.

Aprilia RSV4 X-GP engine and performance
Produces 18hp and 4Nm more than the standard Aprilia RSV4
The RSV4 X-GP uses the same 1,099cc V4 engine as the standard RSV4, but tuned by Aprilia Racing for higher performance. It now makes 238hp at 13,750rpm and 131Nm at 11,750rpm – up from the standard bike’s 220hp at 13,000rpm and 127Nm at 10,800rpm.
To achieve these figures, Aprilia has fitted the bike with a higher compression ratio, a racing-spec air filter, a velocity stack for the air intake system, a dry clutch, and a MotoGP-style titanium double-pipe exhaust from SC Project.
Aprilia RSV4 X-GP aerodynamics
Aprilia RSV4 X-GP gets MotoGP-derived aerodynamics package
The RSV4 X-GP’s design and livery are inspired by the RS-GP25 MotoGP bike, currently piloted by Marco Bezzecchi, Raúl Fernández, Ai Ogura, and reigning world champion Jorge MartÃn.
Its full carbon fibre bodywork comes from PAN Compositi, an Italian company specializing in advanced carbon composite manufacturing, best known for supplying the bodywork components for Aprilia's racing bikes. This includes the multiple winglets and the subframe that supports the rider’s seat. Aprilia says this setup increases rear-tyre feedback and creates a more direct connection between rider and bike. The company also claims the bodywork generates five times more vertical load in a straight line and triples it in corners compared to the standard RSV4.
Aprilia RSV4 X-GP suspension, brakes, and wheels
Gets Öhlins racing suspension with Brembo GP brakes
As expected of a track-only superbike, the RSV4 X-GP gets high-end cycle parts. Suspension comes from Öhlins, with pressurised cartridges at the front and a TTX monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable.
Braking is handled by Brembo GP4-MS calipers, while the bike rides on forged magnesium Marchesini wheels wrapped in WSBK-spec Pirelli slicks – SC1 at the front and SCX at the rear.
Other premium details include adjustable billet aluminium footpegs, clutch lever, fuel cap, crankcase and lever guards.
Aprilia RSV4 X-GP electronics and features
Gets Aprilia APX ECU with GPS integration
Electronics are managed by the Aprilia Racing APX ECU, the same unit used in the brand’s WSBK machines. It allows calibration of power delivery, traction control, engine braking, and wheelie control for each individual gear.
The APX system also integrates a GPS module for telemetry, enabling riders to log and analyse track data.
Aprilia RSV4 X-GP price
Only 30 units of the RSV4 X-GP will be made
The Aprilia RSV4 X-GP is officially available only for the European market at €90,000, exclusive of taxes and only 30 units of the bike will be made. The purchase includes a laptop preloaded with software to manage the ECU parameters and electronics. Other included add-ons are tire warmers, titanium front and rear wheel stands, a floor mat and a bike cover.
The RSV4 X-GP is the latest and arguably most potent addition to a short list of exclusive models like the RSV4 X ex3ma and RSV4 X Trenta.
