What engine is used in the Ntorq 150, and what are the power figures?
The Ntorq 150's engine is a bored and stroked version of the Ntorq 125's unit. TVS has upped its capacity to 149.7cc and is also equipped with the mild-hybrid iGo assist. It puts out 13.2hp at 7,000rpm, 14.2Nm at 5,500rpm (including 0.7Nm from iGO electric boost), has a claimed top speed of 104 km/h, and a 0-60km/h acceleration time of 6.3 seconds.
How does the chassis and design compare to the Ntorq 125?
The new Ntorq 150 makes use of the same chassis as the 125, which has been further strengthened. It shares its ground clearance (155mm), wheelbase (1285mm), 22-litre underseat storage capacity, and 5.8-litre fuel tank with the Ntorq 125. The design is stealthy with some loud colour options on offer. Additionally, it does look unique with a naked motorcycle-style handlebar.
What safety features does the Ntorq 150 get?
The Ntorq 150 is equipped with a front disc brake and gets single-channel ABS as standard. It also features a traction control system. Additional safety tech includes crash and theft alerts, emergency brake warning, and hazard lamps.
What is the difference between the two variants of the TVS Ntorq 150?
There are two variants of the scooter: standard and TFT. The standard model gets the LCD/TFT unit, which we have seen on the top-spec variant of the Ntorq 125. Meanwhile, the TFT variant gets the 5-inch TFT screen from the RTR 310 along with additional switchgear. The base variant gets three colour options, including Turbo Blue, Stealth Silver, and Racing Red. On the other hand, the TFT variant gets Racing Red, Turbo Blue, and Nitro Green.
What tech features and connectivity does the Ntorq 150 offer?
The top-spec variant is the one to go for if you are interested in tech and connectivity. It gets a bunch of features accessible via the 5-inch TFT screen and also connects to your phone via the SmartXonnect application. Features include turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call & SMS alerts, geofencing, day/night mode, and much more.
The Ntorq 150 is priced starting at Rs 1.19 lakh and going up to Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom prices).
