The Ultraviolette X47 is the Bengaluru-based EV manufacturer’s latest offering, and arguably its most appealing one yet. Like the F77, the X47 is offered with two battery pack options – 7.1kWh and 10.3kWh – with two variants under each, with varying levels of features and tech. All four variants share the same powertrain, though peak output figures and performance differ slightly depending on battery capacity. The chassis and cycle parts, however, remain identical across the lineup. Here’s a breakdown of the four variants and what they offer:
Ultraviolette X47 Original
Prices for the Ultraviolette X47 Original start at Rs 2.49 lakh
The Ultraviolette X47 Original acts as the entry point into the range. It’s the most affordable and also the least equipped variant, but still packs plenty of tech. It comes with the smaller 7.1kWh battery pack, offering a claimed IDC range of 211km. Performance figures stand at 27kW (36hp) and 550Nm at the wheel, with a 0-60kph time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 145kph.
As standard, it ships with a regular external charger and connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (higher variants add LTE). Despite being the base model, it gets the same three riding modes – Glide, Combat, and Ballistic – as the rest of the range. However, regenerative braking and traction control are limited to 3 levels and 1 level respectively; these can be upgraded to 10 levels and 3 levels for an additional cost.

All variants, including the Original, feature Ultraviolette’s new Hypersense radar system as standard. The 77GHz rear-facing unit provides blind spot alerts and rear collision warnings. Other standard equipment includes dual-channel ABS, dynamic stability control, hill-hold, park-assist, and a USB Type-C charging port.
The Original comes with a 3-year/60,000km warranty, extendable to 5 years/1,00,000km.
Ultraviolette X47 Original+
Prices for the Ultraviolette X47 Original+ start at Rs 2.99 lakh
The X47 Original+ uses the same 7.1kWh battery pack and produces identical performance figures as the base Original. What you’re paying the additional Rs 50,000 for is the added convenience and features.
The Original+ swaps the bulky external charger for a more practical on-board charger, requiring only a lightweight charging cable. It also supports Ultraviolette’s Parallel Boost Charger for fast charging and includes access to the UV Supernova+ fast-charging network. LTE connectivity is standard here, along with 10 levels of regenerative braking and 3 levels of traction control.
Warranty coverage is also stronger with 5 years/1,00,000km as standard. Optional accessories like crash protection, TPMS, and the dashcam module remain extras, just as with the base model.

Ultraviolette X47 Recon
Prices for the Ultraviolette X47 Recon start at Rs 3.49 lakh
The Recon marks the step-up to the larger 10.3kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed IDC range of 323km. Power output increases slightly to 30kW (40hp), with 100Nm from the motor and 610Nm at the wheel. Despite the added weight of the bigger battery, performance improves with 0-60kph taking 2.7 seconds. Top speed remains at 145kph.
The base Recon includes a conventional charger and supports the optional Boost Charger for faster charging. Feature-wise, it’s on par with the Original+, with LTE connectivity, three riding modes, 10 levels of regenerative braking, 3 levels of traction control, and all the safety aids – dual-channel ABS, dynamic stability control, and the Hypersense radar.
The Recon also adds crash protection, including knuckle guards and a bull bar, as standard, alongside the longer 5-year/1,00,000km warranty.

Ultraviolette X47 Recon+
Prices for the Ultraviolette X47 Recon+ start at Rs 3.99 lakh
Sitting at the very top of the lineup, the X47 Recon+ combines the larger 10.3kWh battery with the most comprehensive equipment list. It mirrors the Recon’s specs but replaces the standard charger with an on-board charger. Like the Original+, it supports the optional Parallel Boost Charger for fast charging.
Unique to the Recon+ are the TPMS and Ultraviolette’s ‘Violette AI’ system, which adds crash detection and theft alerts. However, even in this flagship model, the front and rear dashcams (with the secondary display) remain optional extras.
