New Kia Seltos exterior and interior
Radical new design language
The new Seltos adopts Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, and so features styling elements like a wide grille that houses the main headlight units, sharp vertically-oriented LED DRLs, gloss black body cladding, retractable door handles, blacked-out pillars, a rear LED light bar, and more.

Dimensionally, the new Seltos measures 4,460mm long, 1,830mm wide, 1,635mm tall, and has a 2,690mm wheelbase. Compared to the outgoing model, that's an increase of 95mm in length, 30mm in width, and 80mm in wheelbase for the new Seltos.
Dual-tone cabin looks quite upmarket

Inside, the new Seltos prominently gets a fresh pair of 12.3-inch displays, with a 5-inch HVAC screen nestled between them. There’s a new three-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel with an offset Kia emblem, along with a decent selection of physical controls on the centre console.
New Kia Seltos offers a plethora of features and safety tech
In terms of creature comforts, the new Seltos packs in wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, 64-colour ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, Level 2 ADAS, a 10-way powered driver’s seat, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging pad, 8-speaker Bose sound system, connected car tech, etc.

Safety is taken care of via standard features like 6 airbags, ESC, front and rear disc brakes, hill hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX child seat anchorages, reverse camera, and more. Kia also claims increased bodyshell rigidity as part of the new Seltos’ K3 platform, which may allow the midsize SUV to secure a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating.
New Kia Seltos engine and gearbox
One diesel and two petrol engines

On this front, the new Seltos is matched with its predecessor. It still gets the same three 1.5-litre engines: a 115hp naturally aspirated petrol, a 116hp diesel, and a 160hp turbo-petrol. Gearbox options comprise a 6-speed manual and CVT for the NA petrol, a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic for the diesel, and a 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT for the turbo-petrol motor. Aside from these, Kia has confirmed a petrol-hybrid powertrain option for the new Seltos, though this is expected to arrive by 2027.
