Honda Dio 125 X-edition: What’s new?
It has a new, louder paint scheme and a higher price
The fundamentals of the Dio 125 X-edition are the same as the standard variant of the Dio 125. It is powered by the same 8.3hp/10.5Nm 123.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and the entire rolling chassis as well as feature-set is identical between the two. What separates the X-edition from the scooter it is based upon is the fact that it gets a new dual-tone paint scheme with contrasting red alloy wheels. While the X-edition does come with a TFT display, it doesn’t have Bluetooth compatibility which brings in call/notification alerts and control over music playback. This functionality is reserved for the top H-Smart variant.

At Rs 87,733 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Dio 125 X-edition costs Rs 1,000 more than the standard variant of the Dio 125. However, compared to the top H-Smart variant which comes with keyless ignition, the X-edition costs Rs 3,950 less. The Honda Dio 125 goes up against the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Yamaha RayZR 125 Hybrid and Hero Xoom 125 in our market.
