Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition gets additional features and visual add-ons
Jeep India has increased its Compass selection by introducing the Sandstorm Edition, a limited-run variation aimed to improve both appearances and practicality. This special edition costs Rs. 50,000/- more than the normal variations on which it is based, bringing the total price to Rs. 19.49 lakhs to Rs. 27.33 lakhs (ex-showroom).
Limited-Run Special Edition
The Compass Sandstorm Edition is only available for the entry-level Sport, mid-spec Longitude, and Longitude (O) models. This provides it an option for shoppers looking for more style and function additions without having to upgrade to the Compass's higher trim levels.
Exterior and Interior Enhancements
The Sandstorm Edition has significant cosmetic and feature enhancements. Externally, it features special Sandstorm-themed decals on the bonnet and sides, as well as a dedicated Sandstorm insignia above the front fender.
Inside, the interior features new seat covers, programmable ambient lighting, and special Sandstorm branding. Jeep has also equipped this edition with front and rear dash cameras for enhanced security, as well as special floor mats.
Feature Highlights Across Variants
The Sandstorm Edition is largely based on the Compass Sport model, which already has an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, LED reflector headlights, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the Longitude and Longitude (O) trims include more advanced features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone charging, and an integrated in-car communication system.
