The TVS RTX 300 design has been patented in India. This adventure tourer is set to be released later this year and will be the first motorcycle to feature the new RT-XD4 engine.

TVS RTX 300 patented: What we know so far
The RTX 300 was first spotted on the streets last year, shortly after the firm revealed an all-new 300cc RT-XD4 engine at the 2024 MotoSoul. Later, undisguised photographs of this bike's pre-production model surfaced during the Auto Expo 2025.
In fact, this design patent was filed just one day before the Auto Expo 2025 photographs appeared online. The pre-production unit and the design patents are strikingly similar, with the exception of the purposeful beak up front and the crash guards seen on the bike spotted at the Auto Expo, which hint they may be optional accessories.
This TVS adventure bike appears to be inspired by larger European adventure tourers, with the rear tail-light section design notably reminiscent to the Triumph Tiger 900. Another noticeable feature is the existence of a trellis frame with a rear bolt-on subframe.
Suspending this frame up front is a USD fork with a reasonable amount of travel and a monoshock in the rear. In terms of wheel sizes, the patents and spy images indicate that this TVS ADV will use 19-inch (F) and 17-inch (R) alloy wheels. This implies that the primary focus of this product is touring rather than off-roading.
TVS RT-XD4 engine details
This new TVS adventure tourer will be driven by a 299cc engine rated at 35hp and 27Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch.
Because the RTX uses ride-by-wire throttle, TVS could include a quickshifter as well as other safety measures like traction control and rider modes.
The official debut date for this adventure tourer is uncertain, although it is expected to go on sale this year.
