Honda design head says the 0 α SUV concept is near-production-spec
The new Honda SUV concept seems to be smaller than the larger 0 SUV showcased at CES at the start of the year, but shares the same development approach – the company calls it 'Thin, Light, and Wise' – and design language, along with the wide and upright stance. While the sharply raked front and vertical rear windscreens are prominent, the window line tapers sharply to the rear. The C-pillar is far thicker than anything we've seen from Honda before and a small boot spoiler is visible.
The front 'grille' area sports an illuminated Honda logo and a charging port, framed on the side and above by the headlights. A prominent chin flows into thick body cladding along the sides and the aero-design 5-spoke alloy wheels sit in protruding wheel arches.
Honda has yet to reveal the interior or technical details of the Honda 0 α SUV.
