In India, the 200cc motorcycle segment attracts buyers who want a more performance-focused machine than a typical everyday commuter. The bikes in this category offer decent levels of performance, and the riding experience starts getting more nuanced. So, if you are wondering which 200cc bikes command the highest prices in India, here are the five most expensive ones currently on sale.
All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi, and the bikes are listed in ascending order of price.
Hero Xpulse 200 4V
Rs 1.43-1.56 lakh
The Xpulse 200 4V is a dual-purpose motorcycle that is powered by a 199.6cc oil-cooled engine that produces 19.1hp and 17.35Nm. It is one of the few bikes in this segment that works both as an everyday commuter and a capable off-road bike. Its tall stance, long-travel suspension, 21-inch front spoke wheel, and 220mm of ground clearance make it well-suited for broken roads and trails that other bikes would struggle with.
This Hero bike comes equipped with three riding modes, Road, Off-road, and Rally, along with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and a fully digital instrument cluster. Practical additions like a luggage plate, knuckle guards, and LED lighting are also part of the package. It is available in three variants, Standard, Pro, and Pro Dakar Edition, with the price going up as you move to higher variants. The Pro and Pro Dakar editions also get even longer travel suspension (250mm at the front and 220mm at the rear), although it comes at the cost of a super-tall 891mm seat height.
Honda NX200

The NX200 (formerly known as the CB200X in India) is Honda's quasi-ADV based on the Hornet 2.0 platform. It is powered by a 184.4cc engine that produces 17hp and 15.7Nm, paired with a five-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch. Unlike the Xpulse, the NX200 is better suited for riders who spend most of their time on the road rather than riding off-road.
This Honda bike comes equipped with a 4.2-inch colour display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts. There is also a USB Type-C charging port and disc brakes at both ends, with dual-channel ABS coming as standard.
Bajaj Pulsar RS200

The RS200 is the only fully-faired sports bike Bajaj currently sells and shares its engine and frame with the Pulsar NS200 sporty naked. Unlike the NS200, the RS200 gets fully covered bodywork and slightly rear-set footpegs, which give it a sportier look and riding posture. Even so, the riding position is not overly aggressive and should feel manageable for most riders.
This Bajaj bike is powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 24.5hp and 18.7Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. The RS200 is also equipped with a digital display with Bluetooth connectivity and three riding modes, which adjust power delivery depending on road conditions. A slipper clutch and dual-channel ABS come as standard as well.
KTM 200 Duke

The 200 Duke has minimal, angular bodywork and gets an upright, yet engaging riding position that most riders will find comfortable for daily city use. It is powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 25hp and 19.3Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 200 Duke comes equipped with a 5-inch colour TFT screen with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and music controls. It also gets Supermoto ABS, where the rear ABS can be switched off so experienced riders can slide the rear wheel while cornering. The front disc brake’s size has also been increased from 300mm to 320mm, which should offer better stopping power. The 200 Duke now also gets the same lighter wheels, which are seen on the rest of the Bajaj-made RC & Duke range.
KTM RC 200
Rs 2.15 lakh
The RC 200 gets full body panels along with a more crouched, forward-leaning riding position. It is powered by the same 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine used in the 200 Duke, producing 25hp and 19.2Nm, paired with a six-speed gearbox. However, unlike the Duke's upright and relaxed stance, the RC 200's riding position is more aggressive, which will take some getting used to for riders coming from a regular commuter.
This KTM bike comes equipped with a 5-inch LCD screen with Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, and backlit switchgear that makes the controls easy to use at night. And just like 200 Duke, RC 200 also gets switchable Supermoto ABS.
